By far my most popular pin on Pinterest has been my chart on gross motor development. It has been pinned, repinned and favorited more times than any other pin and is one of the top 10 most clicked.
It’s definitely a handy, easy to reference and understand chart for keeping track of a child’s gross motor development and to assess if they are meeting milestones. I used it with Honeybun to track her progress and it always made me feel better to see the wide range of normal development.

I’ve also developed a chart for fine motor development in the first year (also based on the What to Expect the First Year) which shows the milestones children should be making in the area of fine motor development. Fine motor skills cover those which utilize the hands and fingers as well as hand-eye coordination tasks.
