I love doing handprint crafts my kids, especially for the holidays. It’s a great way to decorate our house for each holiday but it also gives us keepsakes to see how they’ve grown.
And even though we aren’t religious, Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It was always a big family holiday for me growing up and it’s still one of the holidays my entire local family gets together for a big dinner. It also reminds me of spring and all the new life coming out.
This little Kids’ Spring Lamb Handprint Craft is so easy and just as cute!
What you need for the Kids’ Spring Lamb Handprint Craft:
- black construction paper
- pencil or chalk
- scissors
- cotton balls or batting
- glue
- paintbrush
How to make the Kids’ Spring Lamb Handprint Craft:
Trace your child’s hand on a black piece of paper (I traced a little big since Sugarplum’s hand is so tiny!)
Cut out the handprint
Spread some glue onto the palm of the handprint (we used a paint brush to spread after Sugarplum made a nice glob in the middle!)
Stick some cotton (or I used craft batting) onto the glue.
Draw a face on the thumb and your cute little sheep is done!
