The past week was quite a long one. Honeybun finished kindergarten, we had the last big rehearsal for our upcoming dance show (which my students and Honeybun will be performing in next weekend) plus a consistent wake-up call by 6:15 by Doodle (so much for summer being here!) and I am wiped out! But it didn’t stop me from getting my Zone done this week. Luckily, it was a fairly easy one, tidy up a bit and CLEAN! Though we clean fairly frequently, the kitchen is like the bathrooms and gets dirty so easily!
We tried flipping the island (which is “floating,” AKA–not hooked to anything whatsoever) to run the other way in the room since it has always been a tight squeeze getting by the table but it didn’t really work. So instead we pushed the island closer to the pantry cabinets and moved the trashcan over by the sink and I already like it so much better!
I even had the time yesterday morning to go through and organize/clean out a few of the cabinets before meeting friends for lunch. And when we got back, I went to walk into the kitchen and was a little startled (and confused) by the “new” look of everything. Hopefully we can keep it all neat and tidy (especially the fridge, I’ve been fighting with hubby over all that junk for almost 2 years!)
