On a whim this morning I decided to give the girls a special treat, and a special friend to go in it.
We made these adorable marshmallow snowmen to put in their hot chocolate treats which were not only so cute and fun to make, but a delicious add-on treat!
I had them first slide an extra large marshmallow onto a straw. Then they tied a licorice string around the straw for a scarf and slid a regular large size marshmallow on top (I started the holes by sliding a chopstick through the marshmallows to make them easier for the girls to put on the straw).
We used a wooden skewer to poke holes in the marshmallows for faces and button and the girls inserted sprinkles (“jimmies” as hubby would say) into the holes.
We made some hot chocolate (with milk, and not really hot, more like “luke warm chocolate”) and put the straws in the hot chocolate for a cute and delicious treat!
