2nd time mommy to 11 month old boy says:
The hardest part was being alone. My husband was working, and I was the first of my friends to get married AND have kids (even now, my best friend isn’t married), so I didn’t have close friends who knew what I was going through. Now that some of my friends have kids of their own, it’s easier for us to empathize w/ each other and give each other grace as we try to get together.
