Doodle still doesn’t have a ton of words but one of his most used is “choo-choo!” His favorite toy is our train tracks (which of course, he has to hoard all the cars for and can’t share with his sisters). He screams “choo-choo!” every time we cross the railroad tracks. And He has to wear his Thomas socks every time he goes to sleep.
He probably doesn’t remember his ride on the train into New York this fall (which was before train mania set in) but in a few weeks, he is going to get the opportunity to ride again and it will be an experience I’m sure he won’t forget for a while!
Last spring Thomas the Tank Engine came to Miami and we talked about taking the kids. But Doodle was still really small and while the girls have always loved their train and tracks, they never really got into Thomas. But I definitely see Thomas as a big part of our future with Doodle so we were delighted when offered the opportunity to spend a Day Out with Thomas this year.
The 20th nationwide Day out with Thomas tour which will visit 42 cities across the US and Canada (see the full list of locations) kicks off the first weekend of March here in South Florida as Thomas and Friends celebrates 70 years of friendship.
The event which is highlighted by a 45-minute train ride with Thomas also includes an imagination station with arts, crafts and toys, the opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, and storytelling.
I can not wait to share this amazing opportunity with my kids and now one of my local readers can win four tickets for their own family adventure at a Day Out with Thomas!
All three of my boys love trains! All aboard followed by a choo choo is Asher’s favorite sayings right now. We have lots of thomas trains and play set/table. And would love to take them to this event.
Can’t say enough about the love my grandsons have for Thomas. Tables and Thomas trains every-where
Taylor loves trains even more than Parker! She would love to ride the Thomas train
My 2 boys love Thomas the train. My 2 year old always go choo- choo when he hears Thomas movies play. But my 4 Year old is the one that’s craziest about Thomas. From his bedroom set, clothing, toys, DVDS, bike, cups.. ect. He has been learning sooo much about trains, railroad tracks and freight carts. He loves how Thomas and his friends help each other all the time as a team. I’m constantly reminding my boys the importance about helping each other and sharing. I’m happy that they are also reminded the importance of sharing and helping each other when watching Thomas and Friends DVDS. My kids specially my 4 year old would love to finally meet not only Thomas but Sir Topham Hatt as well in person. It would be a dream come true!
My son loves Thomas and his friends, he has a collection of almost all of them, he loves that Thomas is very useful engine.
Ace loves EVERYTHING about Thomas!
My son Noah loves trains and it would mean the world for me to win this and be able to take my son!
