It’s sometimes odd to think back about what you were doing this time of the year 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 years ago. April, for me, seems to be a very eventful month and a lot of big life events have happened this month.
Here’s what I was up to in April:
year ago…hubby and I sat in an Irish pub, seriously considering homeschool for the first time after Honeybun started telling us she was stupid, hated school and didn’t like anything about herself.
years ago…I was mourning the loss of my aunt as I waited for Doodle’s arrival.
years ago…we were preparing for our move back to Florida, wrapping up loose ends in Dublin.
years ago…we were traipsing around Warsaw, Poland.
years ago…we were settling into life abroad and starting our European adventure with a trip to Paris.
years ago…I was finishing up my M.Ed. after a two semester delay due to an unexpected hospital stay with pneumonia and an incomplete in my research class due to policies at my job (I didn’t get to walk at graduation since my program was online).
years ago…I said good-bye to my beloved Nana just months before welcoming my sweet Honeybun.
years ago…Hubby and I graduated college, unsure of what our future held.
years ago…I attended my first White Rose Formal with hubby (his fraternity’s annual formal dance/party).
years ago…I was going through the worst break-up of my life when I lost my best friend after a prom fiasco.
years ago…I was in 5th grade and learning about the “facts of life” through the awkward school sex ed program.
years ago…I was in kindergarten.
