They all did wonderfully on their first days. I, on the other hand, was a basket case! With #1, I sat by the phone all day expecting the worst. With #2, we actually followed the school bus all the way to the school to make sure he got there alright, and then we hovered outside the school yard for quite awhile. With #3, we lectured the older two on “taking care of your sister” and making sure she made it to the right bus at home time.
