What began as a history program for my own kids has now become a full history curriculum for any homeschooling family that is looking for a new way to teach history.

Big Ideas through History is an outline that covers world history through exploration of the big ideas and events that shaped our world through time, rather than chronologically. It’s aim is to allow families to teach history using online and print resources that meet the needs of your individual learners and family.

Big Ideas through History is designed to cover 3 years of instruction, with each part containing 10 Units.

Each Unit covers a specific concept in world history with 3 related Sections and 1 related culture or civilization.

But, every Section of Big Ideas through History is designed to cover a complete, stand alone topic and can also be taught individually or used to accompany other programs.
